Okay boys and girls.
This one got me a bit steamed.
This article published in LGBTQ Nation Texas state Rep. Bryan Slaton (R) announced that he intends to file a bill that would ban drag shows in the presence of minors.
This mouth breather goes on to say on Twitter "Drag shows are no place for a child. I would never take my children to a drag show and I know Speaker Dade Phelan and my Republican colleagues wouldn't either."
Here is my first problem with this. Someone (and yes I'm being nice) is telling other people what they can or cannot do. He is trying to convert a legal event into an illegal event. Of course this would prevent his "colleges" from bringing their wives to a drag show.
He goes on to say that he equates (no, he didn't use that big word) drag shows with sexual abuse of children.
I guess he has no problem with certain churches providing those services.
I can see it now. Jackbooted police officers raiding drag shows looking for children but settling for midgets and dwarfs.
My final word to the Government: Stay out of how I raise my kids.
