Help Meeka Get Electrolysis

 

Hi Everyone. My name is Meeka, I'm a transwoman who has been suffering from gender dysphoria due to my nearly indestructible facial hair. 

What is gender dysphoria?

Gender dysphoria is the distress a person feels due to a mismatch between their gender identity-their personal sense of their own gender-and their sex assigned at birth.  

I have already spent a considerable sum on laser hair removal and although it has thinned it somewhat, what is left is either blonde or grey which will not respond to laser and is too much to just leave. Currently I am forced to shave every day and on some days I shave twice.

 
I don't have medical insurance currently but I do have the VA for major issues, they do not cover any cosmetic procedures at this time.

Out of pocket cost is $90 per hour.  $3,000 will pay for just over 33 one hour treatments.

09-28-21 - UPDATE:  Just wanted to update everyone about my progress.  I'm up to $84.00 which is almost enough for one hour of electrolysis.  My sincere thanks to all who donated to my cause.
